Our multi-purpose shredders can be used for reducing the size of all kinds of material. Industrial shredders come in many different variations and sizes. Some examples of materials that can be commonly shredded in our machines are papers, plywood, plastics, and garbage. However, by far, the most common use of our industrial shredder is to shred high volumes of paper documents. SMBZ Industrial shredders are also commonly used to reduce the recycling cost by shredding material into smaller pieces that can then be processed by other machines using less power and resulting in subsequent savings on electricity.
SMBZ Industrial shredders are equipped with different types of cutting systems: mounted on two-shafts that move at slow speeds but with enormous strength, these shredders are all slow-speed systems, in contrast to hammer mills and granulators which are generally high-speed systems generally meant to break into smaller particles.
